About the Journal
Mission of the journal: the journal is intended to accumulate the results of fundamental and applied research on topical issues of International Law and, based on a pluralistic picture of scientific theories and methodology of modern International Law, as well as the need for interdisciplinary dialogue, to develop a stereoscopic view of the norms, processes and actors that form modern international legal relations.
The journal provides a platform for both young and well-established academics, as well as legal practitioners, to publish outstanding research on a wide range of issues of public and private international law. The Journal features academic articles, essays, short notes, and book reviews, as well as commentaries on decisions by international courts and tribunals.
Periodicity: four issues per year.
Format: the journal is published online with open access to publications.
Language: the journal is bilingual: articles are published in the English or Russian languages with a mandatory detailed abstract in English if the article is in Russian, and vice versa.
Method of publication: articles are accepted for publication strictly on the basis of a double-blind peer review in accordance with international practices. All issues of the journal go through a full cycle of editorial processing and proofreading. The authors are not charged for preparation and publication of manuscripts.
Article size: from 40,000 to 80,000 characters including spaces; review of a judicial decisions may be 15,000 characters or more including spaces.
